Villains, Reimagined is a three-poster series that reinterprets iconic Disney villains through a minimalistic, contemporary visual lens. The project explores how familiar pop culture characters can be distilled into bold, graphic portraits while retaining the essence of their individual narratives.

This series features Maleficent, the Evil Queen, and Ursula, each presented as the central figure of their own story. The posters focus on portrait-based compositions, positioning each villain as the main character rather than a supporting antagonist.
Minimal shapes, controlled color palettes, and strong silhouettes are used to modernize these classic characters. Subtle line drawings are embedded within each composition as visual “easter eggs,” offering hints and previews of their stories without overtly narrating them. These hidden details invite closer viewing while reinforcing the depth and complexity behind each character.
